someone: Grab that man behind him!
(a few of the male reporters take hold of the attacker)
reporter: (to his cameraman) Shoot, shoot! This is a big scoop!

(Akira tries to push through the crowd)
Akira: Let me through!
(someone takes hold of the video camera filming Doumyouji)
cameraman: ?!

(later on, a different reporter speaks into a microphone outside of a large 
hospital)
reporter: Today around noon, the eldest son of the Doumyouji Corporation, 
Tsukasa-san, was stabbed with a knife by an unidentified assailant.
reporter: The perpetrator was apprehended at the scene, and is currently being 
interrogated by the police.
reporter: Tsukasa-san has been brought to the emergency room of a local hospital 
and is currently unconscious and in critical condition.

(in the waiting area of a hospital hallway)
Soujirou: It's taking a long time...... There still hasn't been any news from 
the ICU?
Akira: Yeah.
(Shigeru has her face buried in one of her hands)
Soujirou: Shigeru,
Soujirou: stop crying. This isn't your fault.
Akira: Tsukasa should be alright. He's the type who wouldn't die even if you 
killed him.
Soujirou: Yeah.
Soujirou: If anyone could--

(Doumyouji is lying in bed unconscious, with an oxygen tube taped to his mouth)
~voice: ...master.
~voice: Young master.
~Tama: Young master!
(a somewhat younger Tama hurries towards a child version of Doumyouji in his 
pajamas, standing by the intersection of two of the mansion's hallways)
~Tama: You have a fever. You should be sleeping!
~little Doumyouji: Wh...
~little Doumyouji: where's my mother?
~Tama: The mistress is at work right now.
~little Doumyouji: What about sis?
~Tama: (trying to guide him down the hallway) Tsubaki-sama is also out at the 
moment.

~little Doumyouji: Oh...
(Tama watches his face with concern)
~Tama: (smiling) Tama will stay with the young master until he falls asleep!
~little Doumyouji: No way. I don't want an old bag like you with me.
~Tama: No no! I insist!
(little Doumyouji clutches at Tama's apron while she tucks him into bed)
~little Doumyouji: ... Tama--
~little Doumyouji: Mother and father don't care about me at all, do they?

~Tama: What are you saying?!! Of course that isn't so!
~little Doumyouji: ........
~little Doumyouji: But it's true, isn't it?
~little Doumyouji: Then, why is there never anybody at home?!
~little Doumyouji: Why is it always just an old bag like you??
(he breaks down into a coughing fit)
~Tama: Young master!
~Tama: Ah.
~Tama: Wait just a moment!
(she sprints out of the room)

~Tama: (holding up a stuffed rabbit) I had forgotten.
~Tama: The mistress told me to give this to the young master if he became 
restless.
(little Doumyouji holds the rabbit up in front of his face)
~little Doumyouji: Mother did? She told you to give me this?
~Tama: Yes, that's right. Now, why don't we go to sleep?
~little Doumyouji: How dumb. It's so girly.

(tears well in his eyes, and he hugs the stuffed rabbit to his chest)
~little Doumyouji: Does she think I can be fooled by something like this?
(Doumyouji's eyes remain closed as he continues to dream)
~Tsukushi (long-haired): Doumyouji.
~Tsukushi (short-haired): Doumyouji.

Rui: Makino.

Tsukushi: Hanazawa Rui, you're here?
Rui: I've been here all along.
Rui: But nevermind that. Go home for a little while, and get some sleep.
Tsukushi: No, I'm fine.

Tsukushi: I was surprised.
(he stares at her)

Tsukushi: Rui.
Tsukushi: Why is it?

Tsukushi: when I'm just about to grasp that hand, it slips through my fingers?

(Rui sits next to her and puts his hand on her head)
Rui: Idiot.
Rui: Don't say such unlucky things.
Tsukushi: Whenever I'm truly reaching for him,
Tsukushi: he always slips away from me.

(Rui looks up over her head as something catches his eye)
(noticing his movement Tsukushi looks up too)
(meanwhile, in Soujirou and Akira's hallway...)

(Tsubaki and Tama have arrived, both out of breath)
Tsubaki: Where's Tsukasa?
Soujirou: Sis.
Akira: He's still in the ICU.
Akira: It looks like tonight is going to be the rough part. He's lost a lot of 
blood.
Tsubaki: ........ Why did this have to happen...?
Tama: It seems that the man who stabbed the young master was the president of a 
company that had recently been driven bankrupt by the Doumyouji Corporation.
Tama: It was reported as a grudge-related crime.

Soujirou: That's terrible.
Akira: The son of the family has nothing to do with that stuff.
Tsubaki: After all the awful things Tsukasa has done, I've always been afraid 
that it would come back to him someday.
Tama: No matter what he's done, he'll always be the cute young master to me.
Tama: If it would save the young master, I would gladly sacrifice my own life.
Tsubaki: How is Tsukushi-chan doing?
Akira: Makino hasn't left the waiting room this entire time.
