Tsukushi: Doumyouji is standing there, smiling.

~Tsukushi: Yeah.

(Tsukushi opens her eyes in bed)
Tsukushi: ...... The same dream again.
Tsukushi: I always wake up at the same moment.
Tsukushi: Mmmmm...

Rui: (looking up from a newspaper) Ah, you're awake?
Tsukushi: Uhuh, morning.
Rui: You were out for a while, about 12 hours.
Tsukushi: 12 hours?! I slept that much?
Tsukushi: It must be because I haven't gotten a wink of sleep since I got here.
(Tsukushi's stomach starts to growl)
Rui: Are you hungry? I went out and bought a few things.

Tsukushi: Come to think of it, I haven't eaten much either.

Tsukushi: You shopping is kinda rare. I wish I could've seen it.
Rui: I can't cook, so I always have to eat out when I'm in the US.
Tsukushi: But wow, I had no idea you had an apartment in New York.
Rui: You said that yesterday too.
Tsukushi: Did I? Maybe it's because I slept too much, I can't really remember.
~Rui: Anyway, get to sleep.

(Tsukushi recalls lying in bed with Rui sitting next to her)
~Rui: It's alright. I'm here with you.
Rui: The coffee's ready.
Tsukushi: Ah, thanks.
(they sit down at the table)
Tsukushi: Waa, it looks so good.
Rui: I picked it all up from a deli, but who knows what it is.

(Tsukushi and Rui both take a bite)
Tsukushi: Delicious.
Rui: Terrible.
Tsukushi: Terrible? But it's delicious.
Rui: .......... Then you can have my share.
Tsukushi: I don't get you rich people. Your taste buds must be screwed up.
Tsukushi: (after a pause) Hanazawa Rui.
Rui: (drinking coffee) Hm?
Tsukushi: Thanks, for everything.
Tsukushi: Really.

Tsukushi: Okay.
Tsukushi: There's a special atmosphere around Hanazawa Rui.
Tsukushi: It's soft and gentle,
Tsukushi: like the steam from this coffee.

Rui: In the newspaper today, it said that Tsukasa's family is having some 
problems.
Rui: A big business deal for the company fell through apparently.
Tsukushi: ...... Oh.
Rui: Probably, what happened the other day had something to do with this.
Tsukushi: Nevermind already.

Tsukushi: Why can't we just date normally? Why does it have to turn out like

Tsukushi: I only wished for some tranquillity.
Tsukushi: I'm just a normal highschool girl after all.

(Tsukushi turns to Rui with a forced smile)
Tsukushi: Sorry, I'm whining so much.
Tsukushi: It's such bad form...
(Rui leans over and kisses her on the lips)

Rui: So? There's nothing wrong with whining every now and then.
Tsukushi: Huh?!
(Rui looks out the window)
Rui: Shall we go out somewhere? You came all this way after all.

Rui: Why don't we take a boat ride?
Tsukushi: Ha...Hanazawa Rui.
Tsukushi: Um. Just now. Eh?
Rui: The kiss?
Rui: I just suddenly felt like doing it.

Tsukushi: you felt like it?
Rui: Yeah, is that a problem?

Rui: There have been many times recently that I've forgotten about Shizuka.

Rui: I wonder why? It's been on my mind.
Rui: Akira, Soujirou, and I laughed together about the troubles you would have 
here,
Rui: but I couldn't get you out of my mind and was on a plane a couple hours 
later.
Rui: I don't really understand it myself either.
Rui: ........ Why did I do that?
(Tsukushi's face is a blank)
Tsukushi: Wh...what am I supposed to--
Rui: Maybe it's love?

Rui: (grinning) I see. That must be it.
Tsukushi: Huhh?
Tsukushi: What in the world is he saying??
Rui: Anyway, I turned your clothes over to the cleaners, so go ahead and pick 
something out from my stuff.

Tsukushi: Eh? Uh. Sure.
Rui: It's all in the closet over there.
(Tsukushi shuffles over to the closet)
Tsukushi: Okie dokie.
Tsukushi: Then, I'll borrow this jacket here.
Rui: Ok.
Rui: I haven't been on a boat in a while. I'm excited.
Tsukushi: My knees are feeling weak......

(Rui and Tsukushi lean against the side of a ferry boat)
Rui: It's pretty cold out.
Tsukushi: Yeah.
Tsukushi: "Maybe it's love?"
Tsukushi: Was he talking about me?

Tsukushi: Um...
Rui: Ah, how mysterious.

Akira: I wonder if that was the cause of it all.
Soujirou: Who knows? I've called his New York house a bunch of times, but I 
couldn't get through.
Akira: I called Rui's house too, but he hasn't been around for the last couple 
of days.
Soujirou: It's pretty weird for that homebody to be away for so long.
Akira: You don't think... Rui went to New York too?
Soujirou: ............ His family owns an apartment building over there, right?
(a mob of girls run towards them from behind)
girls: [ummm]
girls: [there's something we'd like to ask!]

Tsukushi: I should visit Thomas one more time, in order to thank him.
Tsukushi: He helped me out a lot recently.
Rui: Oh, I'll go too then.

Rui: He rescued you, right?
Rui: Then I want to thank him as well.

Tsukushi: I loved him for such a long time.
Tsukushi: He was the first person I've ever loved.

Thomas: I've never been to a restaurant in New York before!
Rui: Go ahead.

Tsukushi: Eh? Wait a second. Not as this super-pricey restaurant--
Tsukushi: I mean, I don't have any money, Hanazawa Rui.
Rui: I have plenty.
Tsukushi: B...but, you don't know how much these people can eat.
(Thomas and his pals start to chow down)
Rui: (spoon poised in the air) ........

Thomas: (to Rui) You shouldn't eat soup with a spoon. Chug it, chug it.
Rui: Okay.
(Rui raises the bowl to his lips and sips it down)
Tsukushi: Gyah!
Tsukushi: Hey Thomas, don't tell him to do weird things!
Rui: Hmm.
Rui: This way does seem more delicious.
Tsukushi: !!
Thomas: Yeah!! You said it, Rui-kun.
Thomas: Now we'll teach you how to eat the lamb.
Thomas: Go, Bob, go!!
Rui: It's hot.
Thomas: Rich people have thin skin, huh? You have to train more.
Rui: Ok.
Rui: I'll do my best.

Tsukushi: Uwa. He's laughing...
Thomas: So, did you get to see your boyfriend? Everyone's been wondering.
Tsukushi: Ah.
Tsukushi: I saw him. Thank you all so much.
Tsukushi: Thanks.
Thomas: That's great to hear!! We were all blown away when we saw that huge 
mansion.
Thomas: It must've been a moving reunion.

Thomas: At first I thought it was kinda terrible to make a girl look for him all 
alone in a place like this. But it's good that it all turned out alright in the 
end.
Tsukushi: (solemnly) Yeah.
Thomas: What about you, Rui-kun? Do you have a girlfriend?
Thomas: Or someone you like?
Thomas: Cindy's been pestering me to ask you. She says you're her type.
Cindy: Blah blah blah.
Rui: I did have... something like a girlfriend, but not anymore.

(he eyes Tsukushi out of the corner of his eye with a smile, and she blushes)
Thomas: I see. Well, I hope it goes well for you.
Thomas: Let's all become happy!

Tsukushi: If it had come a little earlier, would I have not fallen in love with 
Doumyouji?
Thomas: Whew, I'm stuffed!
(a waiter hands the bill to Rui)
Tsukushi: Ah, how much is it? I'll pay you back when we get back to Japan.

Rui: It's fine.
Rui: ........
(Rui feels around in his pockets, then in his coat)

(Thomas and co. splits)
Thomas: Seeya!! Thanks for the meal!

Tsukushi: G-gone, you say?
Rui: I must've dropped it on the boat. This is problematic.
Tsukushi: Gya! What are we going to do? I don't have anything.
Rui: I'll go talk to them.
Tsukushi: I can't believe how much food they all piled up!!

Tsukushi: Yeowch, a couple of scary-looking guys are coming over here.
(Rui talks to the three waiters)
Tsukushi: N...now what?

Rui: Apparently the cleaners aren't able to come in today, so we've been ordered 
to have all the floors cleaned by morning.
Tsukushi: Cleaning?
Tsukushi: They'll forgive us if we clean the floors?
Rui: Yeah, I guess they were pretty nice to us.
Rui: I've never done this before.
Rui: It should be interesting.
(Tsukushi rolls up her sleeves)
Tsukushi: Leave it to me. I'm a cleaning pro!
Tsukushi: I usually did it by myself at Eitoku too!
(Rui starts to make an attempt)
Tsukushi: Ah, don't be so finicky.
Tsukushi: Let's start with the larger spaces.

Rui: Ok.
Tsukushi: What an odd person.
Tsukushi: Everything is surrounded by his air.

(she goes into frantic cleaning mode)
Tsukushi: (noticing Rui staring at her) Wh-what?
Rui: Nothing.
Rui: I was just noticing how much more lively you look.

Rui: Probably, there was just too much I didn't understand.

Rui: but I think it was more that I didn't get the difference between adoration 
and love.
