Susumu: Ahhh, I slept so well! It's a great morning, isn't it sis?
Susumu: Sis?
(Tsukushi is still out cold in bed)
Susumu: (shaking her) Sis, wake up! Make me a bento for school!

(Tsukushi has a less-than-happy morning face on)
Tsukushi: I was hardly able to sleep a wink, just knowing that he was in the 
next room.
Tsukushi: Even though it wasn't like this when I was working at his house.
(Tsukushi slices up... tamago-yaki, maybe?)
Susumu: Sis, why don't you bring some breakfast over to Doumyouji-san?
Tsukushi: Eh? It's not like he'd eat this sort of food.
Susumu: Are you kidding? What guy wouldn't want to eat home-cooking made by the 
woman he loves?
Susumu: Bon appetit.
Tsukushi: Wh-why you--
Tsukushi: ........
Tsukushi: My brother hasn't been raised to have much reserve. But what can I 
expect considering the parents?
Tsukushi: Breakfast, huh...?
Tsukushi: It might be good to act more girlfriend-like.
Tsukushi: But it's always so clumsy between us.

~Doumyouji: Oh, breakfast? Perfect, I'm feeling hungry.
~Tsukushi: (carrying a tray) I've brought you spinach, miso soup, and 
tamago-yaki.
~Doumyouji: Spinach?! Isn't that a grass that birds eat??
~Tsukushi: [grass?!] What a thing to say, when I went to all the trouble to 
bring this stuff over here!
~Doumyouji: I am not a bird!!
(he knocks the tray from her hands)
~Tsukushi: [kyaaa!] Noo!
(Susumu watches his sister spacing)
Susumu: Sis........
Tsukushi: {gasp}
(Tsukushi finds herself squeezing the roll of tamago-yaki)
Tsukushi: Oh no, what if we just start fighting??
(Tsukushi fills up a tray anyway, and goes out the door)
Tsukushi: (to Susumu) I'll be right back.
Tsukushi: I should at least be able to bring him breakfast.

Tsukushi: I ought to take care of him a little.
Tsukushi: When it comes down to it, I was very impressed by what he did.
Tsukushi: (wavering) But still, I feel a little shy.

his house.
(she knocks on his door lightly, but there's no response)

(Tsukushi bangs on the door fiercely)

(she tries the handle, and the door opens)

Akira: What the? You're both acting like Rui.
Akira: [that guy's probably still asleep right now]

(Tsukushi stands below the bridge, listening to the conversation)

Doumyouji: Well, I wouldn't go that far.
Tsukushi: It's not like I asked him to come.

Akira: Yeah, go for it.
Tsukushi: I understood that this is how it would turn out, but

(she thinks of his empty apartment that morning, as Doumyouji walks through 
campus on his way home)

(Tsukushi listens in shock)
Akira: Hey, watch it. If Makino finds out you'll be in for an earfull.
Soujirou: It's ok. Nothing happened. Although we did go into a room together.
~Yuuki: Tsukushi, lend me your skirt!
Akira: A room?! Are you saying you went to a hotel with her?
Akira: [you're such a fast mover]
Soujirou: Yeah, we went to a hotel.
Tsukushi: Ehh?!

Soujirou: so I'm really out of it right now.
Soujirou: I guess I'll go home and sleep too. I'm supposed to meet a girl

(Soujirou starts to walk across campus)

Tsukushi: Hey yourself... nevermind the greetings.

Tsukushi: I'd like to talk with you for a moment.
Soujirou: Are you enjoying living together?

Tsukushi: What are you talking about?! He just rented the room next to me, 
that's all!
Tsukushi: [don't talk about it like that!]
Soujirou: We're all glad for Tsukusa.
Soujirou: And he seems to be really trying hard.
Soujirou: I hope this will allow you two to deepen your connection.

table]
Tsukushi: Susumu's words hit a nerve.
(Tsukushi sits up in bed)
Tsukushi: I wonder if he's right...
Tsukushi: No no, he couldn't be!
(she lies down and pulls the covers up)
Tsukushi: I have to stop this train of thought!
Tsukushi: I'm getting sick of it all...

Tsukushi: It's starting to piss me off.
(the sound of footsteps echoes from outside, and Tsukushi's head pops up)
(Doumyouji opens the door to his apartment, while Tsukushi stares at him from 
nearby)
(after a moment he turns and sees her, lurking in the dark in her pajamas)
Doumyouji: (in shock) Ah!!

Doumyouji: You almost gave me a heart attack.
Doumyouji: Don't be so creepy. You should've said something at least.
Tsukushi: Creepy...?
Doumyouji: I thought an "okappa" woman was about to attack me from the darkness. 
It was really creepy.

Doumyouji: Hah?
Tsukushi: You sleep better at your own house, right?
Tsukushi: Why don't you go home then?
(he stares at her blankly)
Doumyouji: What are you so irritated about?
Tsukushi: Nothing much.

(Tsukushi's yelling wakes up the neighbors)
Tsukushi: I can't stand you coming or not coming just on a whim!

Doumyouji: Don't be so loud. It's 3am, you know.
(he grabs her arm)
Domyouji: Anyway, come over here.
(he pulls her into his apartment)
Tsukushi: What is he saying?
Tsukushi: Isn't that like saying "be by my side"?

Doumyouji: Are you sleepwalking or something?
Tsukushi: That's not it!
Doumyouji: Then what is it?
Tsukushi: ....... What, you say.
Tsukushi: I don't know.
(Doumyouji stares at her in surprise, as she starts to cry in frustration)
Tsukushi: Don't come into my world.

(Tsukushi cries with a hand over her face, while Doumyouji watches her in 
confusion)
Tsukushi: I can't see any exit from this love.
Tsukushi: For myself, who has fallen more and more in love,
Tsukushi: it's only natural that I should feel uneasy sometimes.

Tsukushi: You're lying.

Doumyouji: Anyway, that's the time period when burglers are most likely to break

Doumyouji: The SPs have been hanging around so much that it's hard for me to get 
out of the house.
Doumyouji: They're practically watching my every move.
Tsukushi: The SPs...?
Doumyouji: Yeah, so in order to avoid being found out, I've been going on foot 
or taking taxis.
(he covers his mouth with his hand and yawns)
Doumyouji: I'm bushed...
Doumyouji: Go back to your own apartment and sleep.
Tsukushi: So that's what's been happening........
Tsukushi: ... Okay.

Tsukushi: I guess,
Tsukushi: I've been acting like a complete idiot.
Tsukushi: I got angry, and cried, and made a commotion in the middle of the 
night, all for no reason.
Tsukushi: I'm so embarrassed!
Tsukushi: Ok, I'm going back to my place to sleep!
(Doumyouji lies pathetically on the floor, with one arm over his face)
Doumyouji: ...... Yeah, go to sleep. [you're so loud]
(Tsukushi starts to open the door, then hesitates and looks back at Doumyouji on 
the floor)

Doumyouji: Huh? I'm not crass enough to be able to sleep in this kind of room.
(Tsukushi wavers a moment longer, then closes the door)
Tsukushi: Maybe,

(Doumyouji can hardly believe his ears)

what to do)

Tsukushi: There's nothing to worry about!! I won't do anything to you.
Doumyouji: It's not you I'm worried about...
Tsukushi: Well I'll warn you ahead of time, the walls here are very thin and my 
brother is sleeping right next door.
Tsukushi: Besides, this isn't the first time we've "slept together".
(wow, this is an unusually calm Tsukushi)
(she starts to sing him a lullaby)

(Yuuki snatches the papes away from her mother)

(there's a moment of silence between them, then Yuuki starts to walk away)

~Soujirou: I was in bed with another woman.

the bed)

Doumyouji: Are you dumb?
Doumyouji: That's not it!

(Doumyouji's expression slowly switches to irritation)

(Ok, in case anyone was curious about the proverb that Doumyouji tooks such 
pains to get out... "Hebi" means "snake", and "namagoroshi" means something like 
"half-kill/keep in suspense". So, um, do your bests to figure out the idiom for 
yourselves from that...... ^_^)

Doumyouji: (slumping against the wall again) Is that woman sane...?
(Tsukushi peeks back inside the apartment)
Tsukushi: Hey,
Tsukushi: do you want to eat breakfast with us? We don't have much, but--
Tsukushi: Oh, I bet you'd rather go home to eat, right?
(he glares at her)
Doumyouji: I'll eat here.
Tsukushi: Romance like playing house.

(she runs out of the room happily, leaving Doumyouji with his usual sour
