Volume 21 Translations

 The volume begins with Tsukushi thinking, Domyoji’s mother has finally
 returned!!! Things are going wrong. Let me see . . . I am now living in
 Domyoji’s house and working as his maid. I am also going out with him. If
 I am his maid, that means that my boss is . . . . .

 While Tsukushi was thinking and talking to herself, the F4 were also
 talking. Domyoji told them that he saw his mom in the hotel they were in.
 Everybody became silent and then Rui said, "That is common. This hotel is
 the property of the Domyoji family."

 Yuki asked the F4 if Domyoji’s mom is really so terrible. Akira and
 Sojiro answered with a scared tone that she has made many people
 unemployed and she will try to get rid of those whom she cannot stand.
 They also said that Tsukushi will be tortured until nothing is left
 because Tsukushi is going out with Domyoji. Besides, Tsukushi has told
 Domyoji’s mom that she was a damn old woman.

 Sojiro and Akira asked Domyoji, "What are you going to do to protect
 Tsukushi?"

 Domyoji: "Nothing."

 Sojiro and Akira: "What?! Oh please."

 Domyoji: "When my mom is angry, nobody can stop her, but it is my
 responsibility to protect Tsukushi so that my mom won’t hurt her."

 Akira and Sojiro cried of joy thinking that Domyoji has matured.

 Yuki: "So, how are you going to protect her?"

 Domyoji: "I do not know. Let’s see what is going to happen."

 Akira and Sojiro: "That will be too late. You are so naive!!"

 Tsukushi paled. She thought that these guys cannot be relied on.

 Yuki offered her house for Tsukushi to stay in and then they both left
 the hotel without letting anybody know.

 When the F4 realized that the girls have left, these two were already on
 the subway.

 Tsukushi got off the subway and ran to Domyoji’s residence. She packed as
 quickly as she could and when she was about to leave, Domyoji’s mom
 arrived. Tsukushi was in a long hallway and could not escape, so she hid
 under a table. (a very stupid idea)

 Domyoji’s mom saw Tsukushi and asked her what the hell she was doing
 there. She ordered the maids to call the Police. But at that moment, Tama
 appeared and told Domyoji’s mother that Tsukushi is Domyoji’s personal
 maid and that she was very sorry about deciding without her approval, but
 it was Tsukushi who insisted on that.

 Tsukushi said, "What?! Did I say that? Please, Tama, shut up!!"

 But Tama continued, "This girl is a very hard worker. It is obvious that
 she will take care of Domyoji because they are a couple. I think that you

 (Domyoji’s mom) are being very unreasonable, obstructing these young
 people from going out."

 Domyoji’s mother: "Do not say this stupid thing to me. You already know
 that here in this family, we are people with a future. What I am asking
 is why did you let this girl, like a rat, enter my house!!!"

 After hearing this, Tsukushi was paralyzed. She felt that there was
 electricity passing though her body and she realized that Domyoji Kaede
 was not a simple woman. She ruled all of Japan’s economy and even the
 politics. She told herself that she has to leave.

 Domyoji’s mom stopped her and asked her, "How much do you want?"

 Tsukushi: "What?"

 Domyoji’s mother: "Don’t you need money? Tell me how much you want. I do
 not want you to have any relations with this family. How much? Ten
 million? Fifty million? Or 1 billion? Hurry up!"

 Tsukushi was so angry and humiliated. Tama saw that Domyoji Kaede was
 becoming unbearable and told her that if she insisted that Tsukushi must
 leave this house, then she, Tama, will not live until the next day.

 It seems that Tama has a lot of authority in the Domyoji’s family because
 Kaede lets Tsukushi stay in the house.

 Now, in the following pages, Tama told Tsukushi how she came to work for
 the Domyoji’s family as a maid for 60 years and that she has seen all the
 changes that happened to this family, especially to Domyoji. She told
 Tsukushi that Domyoji had been so wild since the sixth grade. Every
 night, he always returned with his hands full of other guys’ blood. But
 Domyoji’s parents didn’t do anything other than to pay a lot of money to
 those guys. Life was a living hell at that time. She also said that she
 is glad that Domyoji has changed his temper because of Tsukushi. So she
 will fight until the end so that Tsukushi won’t leave this house.

 Tama also told Tsukushi that she has a great idea that can bring Domyoji
 and Tsukushi together.

 Tama: "I want you to have sex with Domyoji. You both can go somewhere
 like the beach. Ahh!, the world is becoming more modern. When I was
 young, people treated those badly who married and were not a virgin. By
 the way, you do know how to make a baby, don’t you?"

 Tsukushi was so surprised. She continued thinking of what Tama told her
 last night when she was in school. She was so angry that she threw her
 bookbag to the floor. Kazuya saw that and he asked Tsukushi what was
 going on. Sakurako told Tsukushi that she has become older because all
 the sufferings are reflected on her face. Tsukushi thought that they were
 right and suggested that three of them go out somewhere. But at that
 moment, Domyoji came and asked Tsukushi where she went last night, why
 she had left the hotel without saying anything.

 Kazuya was surprised that they had advanced to that stage (going to the
 hotel). Tsukushi saw that Domyoji was going to make a scandal and she
 hurried to leave the place with Domyoji.

 At the school garden, Tsukushi said, "Please do not say that kind of
 thing so loudly."

 Domyoji: "Who cares."

 Tsukushi: "You don’t, but I do. I was in Tama’s room last night."

 Domyoji: "Why?"

 Tsukushi thought, he doesn’t know what happened last night. Then she
 answered, "It cannot be explained with a word."

 Domyoji: "So let’s go somewhere so I can listen to you."

 They went to a store that was for young girls. When they were at a table,
 the other clients in the store were laughing at Domyoji.

 Domyoji: "I am so regretting coming to this store."

 Tsukushi was also laughing: "Yes, you don’t suit here."

 Then what they ordered came.

 Tsukushi: "Wah! I am going to eat this. How delicious!! Why don’t you
 order this? You are always drinking coffee."

 Domyoji: "I don’t want to."

 Tsukushi: "Don’t say that. Come on, eat a bit."

 Domyoji: "No and NO."

 Tsukushi: "Come on, just a bit. It is delicious!!"

 Domyoji: "Okay. UMMM, how sweet!! It is awful. Hey, why are you cleaning
 the spoon?"

 Tsukushi was thinking about what Tama had told her (it is very silly of
 Tsukushi to think this can make her pregnant. Isn’t she in high school?)

 Domyoji: "So tell me, what happened last night."

 Tsukushi: "Oh, it is not a big thing. Tama invited me to her room and she
 showed me her husband’ s picture. We talked and talked until we fell
 asleep." When Tsukushi was saying this, she thought, it is better that he
 knows nothing of what happened yesterday. Things will be worse when he
 gets crazy.

 Domyoji was kind of angry when he heard this and he just said, "Oh?"

 Tsukushi realized that she must change the topic and she said, "Do you
 look like your mom?"

 Domyoji: "Why did you suddenly change the topic?"

 Tsukushi: "Is your dad alive? I have never seen him. What is he like?"

 Domyoji: "A very common man."

 Tsukushi: "In my imagination, he must be a very tall man, like 3 meters.
 He can fight very well. Just one hit and the guy is dead."

 Domyoji: "Makino, I want to live alone."

 Tsukushi: "What? Live alone?"

 Domyoji: "Yes."

 Tsukushi: "What are you talking about? Do you know what that means?"

 Domyoji: "it is just moving out and living alone."

 Tsukushi: "And do you have any idea what that means?"

 Domyoji: "Well, it is to live in a smaller house."

 Tsukushi: "I want to ask you something. Do you know that means you will
 have to pay rent, that you will have no servants and that you will have
 to cook for yourself and pay various bills like the phone bill, electric
 bill......"

 Domyoji: "Ok, stop."

 Tsukushi: "But living alone is troublesome. Why do you want...."

 Domyoji: "If I don’t move out, how can I protect you!!!"(how sweet)

 Tsukushi: "Domyoji . . ."

 Meanwhile, Domyoji Kaede has begun her project to get rid of Tsukushi
 definitely.

 Domyoji and Tsukushi were arguing about paying the bill. Tsukushi
 insisted on paying separately, but the funny thing is that she had no
 money in her wallet.

 In the street, Tsukushi was thanking Domyoji for inviting her.

 Domyoji: "You are very funny, going out without money. I am not like
 that."

 Tsukushi: "That is very common. You are the strange one because you go
 out with lots of money."

 Domyoji: "Ok so what are we going to do now? It is 12 o’ clock and we are
 not going to school."

 Tsukushi: "Yes, it is late. Why don’t we go somewhere and have fun?"

 And they went to a game center. Tsukushi began to play with some game
 machines. Domyoji was standing there waiting impatiently. Then, Tsukushi
 rode a motorcycle and because she wore a skirt some guys there saw
 Tsukushi’s underwear. Domyoji was so furious, he hit those guys and
 yelled at Tsukushi to go.

 Tsukushi: "Just wait a minute. I want to play this game. (it was a boxing
 machine that tests one’s strength). I want to imagine that this is my
 enemy’s face and hit it without pity."

 Domyoji: "Wait. Something did happen yesterday, right?"

 Tsukushi: "Nothing. You are just imagining it!!!"

 Tsukushi was thinking about what Domyoji Kaede had told her. She felt
 that she has hurt her dignity. Then, Tsukushi hit the stuff and reached
 the heavy weight category.

 Tsukushi: "How pleasant I feel."

 Domyoji: "You just hit this and that is all?"

 Tsukushi: "Yes, you just hit here. Do you want to play?"

 Domyoji hit the stuff and broke the machine. Seeing that, Tsukushi and
 Domyoji ran and left.

 In a park, Tsukushi said, "You are not a human being, you are an
 artificial man!!"

 Domyoji: "I did not use all my strength. You are the same. No girls will
 ride a motorcycle with a skirt."

 Tsukushi: "That is my business. If you want, you can find a timid girl to
 be your girlfriend. You know, you are kind of strange. Boys usually like
 that sort of girl."

 Domyoji stared at Tsukushi and said. "I like you!!!"

 Tsukushi’s face turned red and she said, " Oh, why did you say that?"

 Domyoji: "What the hell is going on. You just made me angry."

 Tsukushi: "Did I? Why do you get angry so quickly?"

 Domyoji: "Why don’t you tell me the truth. Am I so unreliable? "

 Tsukushi: "Things are not what you think. I just . . ."

 Domyoji: "Just what?"

 Tsukushi: "I just don’t want you to leave your house."

 Domyoji: "But I am doing it for your sake."

 Tsukushi: "I know, I know. You are doing this for my good."

 Domyoji: "So why are you refusing?"

 Tsukushi: "I don’t want anyone to protect me. That changes the equality
 between us to a dependency. I don’t want our relationship to become like
 that. But I am very happy, so . . ."

 Domyoji: "So?"

 Tsukushi pulled Domyoji’s scarf and she KISSED him. After that, she said,

 "Thank you. I must return to school. Bye."

 While Tsukushi was leaving, she said to herself that she is not a weak
 girl that needs a boy’s protection. Domyoji still remained in shock.

 At the school, Tsukushi was at her favorite place (the exit stairs where
 Domyoji told her about his B-day) thinking about the KISS that she had
 given him at the park. She thought, I felt like I have done something
 extraordinary . . . She suddenly blushed and said, "But, that is not such
 a big thing. In other countries, people use it to greet each other.
 Besides, it is not wrong that girls take the initiative!! And I have no
 other intention than to thank him!!"

 While Tsukushi was talking to herself, Rui was behind her and he heard it
 all, so he asked, "What did you do?"

 Tsukushi: "Nothing, just a KI . . ." When she realized that it was Rui,
 she became petrified!

 Rui sat down and continued saying, "Nothing extraordinary. People in
 other countries use it to greet each other. Is that a KISS?"

 Tsukushi: "You are spying on me! You are so low class!!"

 Rui: "Miss, people don’t talk to themselves. Hey, so you kissed someone.
 Ahh!!, being young is so good, it is so modern!!"

 Tsukushi blushed and said, "Did I? Hey, you are not so old. That was like
 a Christmas gift."

 Rui stared at her and said: " So, kiss me like a Christmas gift." He
 approached her and said , "Hurry up."

 Tsukushi: "Ehhh..WAIT, Hanazawa Rui!!!"

 Rui laughed and said, "You see, you cannot kiss me. So it is an
 extraordinary thing."

 Tsukushi looked at him with a funny face and Rui began laughing at her
 expression until he could not anymore.

 After that, Rui asked Tsukushi, "What about Domyoji’s mom?"

 Tsukushi: "Nothing."

 Rui: "Did she throw you out?"

 Tsukushi: "I was about to be thrown out, but Tama stopped it."

 Rui: "And then?"

 Tsukushi: "Nothing, just that."

 Rui: "Did something happen around your surroundings?"

 Tsukushi: "Nothing."

 Rui was thinking and Tsukushi was looking at him with doubt. Suddenly,
 Rui asked Tsukushi about Yuki and urged her to see if something happened
 to her or her family.

 Tsukushi: "Why?"

 Rui: "Maybe Domyoji’s mom has already taken action."

 Tsukushi: "That is impossible!! Why does she have to do something to
 Yuki?

 And so quickly?"

 Rui: "Being such an important person, they can finish a thing in one day
 while it take others to finish in one year. And they also attack places
 where you haven’t imagined. There is nothing to attack your family with
 so she will attack your friends because they are important to you."

 Rui was correct when he was saying this. Yuki received a call from her
 mom urging her to go back to her house. Also, Aoike Kazuya’s father
 called him for the same reason.

 Rui: "Hurry up!! Makino, I am not kidding. When you want to be with
 Domyoji, you must give up something."

 Tsukushi felt cold. She rushed to find Yuki. On the way, she thought,
 maybe Rui is wrong. Why does she have to hurt my friends? But I know that
 she is capable of doing anything in order to separate Domyoji and me.

 When Tsukushi arrived at Yuki’s house, Yuki’s mother told her that Yuki’s
 father was transferred to another department in another location.
 Tsukushi told them that she knew why and told them not to pack their
 things cause they are not going to leave. She left and on the way to
 Domyoji’s house, Tsukushi met Kazuya and he told her that his father’s
 company has gone under.

 Domyoji Kaede was waiting in her office situated inside the house.
 Tsukushi was still running and thinking about the sad faces of Yuki and
 Kazuya.

 In the cafeteria, Domyoji was with Akira and Sojiro.

 Sojiro: "What’s up? Why did you call us?"

 Akira: "Where did you go today?"

 Domyoji: "There is something . . ."

 Sojiro: "What something?"

 Domyoji: "I say . . . (clears his throat) don’t go out with those women.
 Find a girl that you like and go out with her."

 Akira and Sojiro: "What?! Does courtship exist in your vocabulary?"

 Domyoji: "I know you don’t understand."

 Akira and Sojiro: "Is there something in this world that you understand
 and we don’t? Something good must have happened to you, right?"

 Domyoji: "I can say that today is the happiest day of my life!!"

 Akira and Sojiro: "What happened?"

 Domyoji: "I cannot tell either of you ‘cause if I do, my happiness will
 just go away!!"

 Akira and Sojiro: "What? So you made us come here just to presume your
 happiness?"

 Tsukushi was still running. When she arrived at Domyoji’s house, she was
 escorted to Domyoji Kaede’s office.

 Kaede: "Welcome! You are sweating. Come and have a seat."

 Tsukushi: "No, I will be leaving as soon as our conversation finishes."

 Kaede: "ok, so let’s get straight to the point. You must know the reason
 for these acts."

 Tsukushi: "I know and I want you to stop doing them. I will accept what
 you want me to do."

 Kaede: "Fine." And she picked up her cell phone and canceled all she had
 ordered her employees to do.

 Kaede: "Now, things are canceled. I want you . . ."

 Tsukushi: "I will leave this house right now and I will not have any
 further contact with this family. Are you satisfied?"

 Kaede: "Yes I am. Do you want to say something?"

 Tsukushi: "You are a rotten woman. Maybe you think that you are very
 important because you are wealthy, but there are things that are more
 precious than money. You use your money to damage these precious things.
 You are worse than those dirty rats, you are the most rotten person in
 this world!!!"

 Kaede laughed and said, "Precious things? What do you mean by that? Do
 you mean love and friendship? Oh please, stop saying those funny
 sentiments and leave my home."

 Tsukushi picked up a cup full of tea (hope it was hot tea!) and threw
 it’s contents onto Kaede’s face. (well done!)

 Kaede: "I warn you, don’t think that I will forgive you easily next time
 you do this to me."

 Tsukushi: "Do what you want. No matter how you attack me, I will stand
 up. But I will not forgive you if you do something to my friends."

 Later in the day, Domyoji was going home in his limousine when it started
 raining. Outside the house, he saw Tsukushi standing there. He got out of
 the limousine and said, "Makino, what are you doing in the rain? Oh my
 god, you are wet. Idiot, come here." He tried to grab Tsukushi’s hands
 but she didn’t let him.

 Tsukushi said, "I have something to tell you. I can no longer be your
 girlfriend."

 Meanwhile, Tama was searching for Tsukushi and one of the servants told
 her that Tsukushi was home in the afternoon. Tama knew something was
 wrong. She went to Tsukushi’s room. There was nothing in the room. Tama
 saw a note that Tsukushi had left her saying she had to leave the house
 because her parents had come back and thanking her for what she had done
 for her.

 Outside the house, Domyoji could not believe what he has just heard and
 he said, "What did you say?"

 Tsukushi: "I will be leaving your house today."

 Domyoji: "Wait. Why are you acting so strange? Don’t you remember that
 today we went to the store and the game center? You told me that you want
 to maintain an equal relationship with me, don’t you? Oh, I get it. You
 told me to maintain an equal relationship. That means you don’t want to
 be my girlfriend!!"

 Tsukushi: "Things are not what you think!! I said it in order to face you
 better."

 Domyoji: "So tell me why things are ending in this manner? How can I
 accept this so suddenly? Tell me!!!"

 Tsukushi: "Domyoji, your mom said that she is going to make Kazuya’s and
 Yuki’s fathers unemployed if I continue being your girlfriend."

 Domyoji turned around to go talk to his mom, but Tsukushi stopped him and
 said, "I have already decided. I am not going to have any further contact
 with your family. I have already decided not to see you anymore!!"

 Domyoji: "I cannot accept this just because you say it. Is that logical?"

 (he was crying when he said that) Tsukushi turned and walked away.

 Domyoji: "Makino, have you ever treated me like a man? Putting aside my
 family and my mom and just treating me like a normal man?"

 Tsukushi thought, yes, of course! Many times, through your arrogance,
 violence, simplicity, rudeness . . . When she was thinking all this, she
 was remembering some moments they had shared together. (When he rescued
 from the running car-Vol. 6, when he punched out a jerk-Yuki’s Date Vol.
 19, Tsukasa laughing sweetly….ay chihuahua….^_~)

 Tsukushi: "If I love you, I wouldn’t be leaving in this way. Good bye!"

 Tsukushi picked up her bags and walked away. She thought, I know I have
 to leave. I do not know where to go, but I must go.

 Tama came to her with an umbrella and said, "What are you doing? Why did
 you lie to Domyoji? You are crying!! You are so foolish!!!"

 Tsukushi was crying and she told herself, actually many times. Many times
 really, I felt that I have loved Domyoji.
