1/02 Notes:  Sorry this part took me ages and ages to get up.  It’s more of a 
summary than translations, really.

11/01 Notes:  Original Japanese names wanted!  Anybody like to help?  These are 
from Chinese-English, so don’t count on perfect accuracy b/c I prefer nicer 
sounding translations than word-for-word ones.  If there are mistakes, please

Nao and Marina sit at a café, discussing Hisashi.  Marina’s relieved that Nao’s 
finally admitted her crush on him, and offers to help if she can, the proceeds 
to badger her into action.  Nao pops veins describing Lamb, and Marina says she 
doesn’t think that Hisashi’s go for an elementary school student.

Nao:  <I know that, but…>

Nao goes to wake Hisashi up when she remembers how before, he kissed her while 
he was asleep, but he wakes up without incident, and comments on her nose hairs.

Hisashi:  Your nose hairs are sticking out.
Nao:  What!?
Hisashi:  Kidding.  I’m changing now, so go away.  And don’t peek!
Nao:  Who’d wanna!!  <I want him to like me, but how do I go about it?>

At school, people whisper that she’s Hisashi’s girlfriend, and Nao lets it get 
to her head.  Her plan is to play up the relationship.  Nao tries to copy a 
nearby couple by feeding Hisashi food, to no avail, and again when Hisashi wants 
to take a nap.  When Hisashi suggests they walk home together, because he 
doesn’t have work that day, they stop by a café but Hisashi will only go in if 
Nao pays.  They see Yuri and she hands over a bag of old clothes she wanted to 
give Nao.  But then Hisashi makes an excuse to leave, and Nao blitzes, thinking 
about if he still has feelings for Yuri.

They go to the house to try on clothes.  Nao laments, saying she’ll never get 
Hisashi to like her more than Yuri, and then Yuri congratulates her on her 
crush.  Lamb enters with a “that’ll never happen.  I knew it, you like Hisashi,” 
then continues to be bratty and mentions Nao’s breast size again, etc.  Yuri 
goes, “God, you’re such a brat!  Shut up a moment and listen to me.”  They 
argue, until Yuri goes, “You know, when you’re old… those big boobs of yours 
will sag!!”, thus winning the dispute.  Lamb goes, “I’m only 12, I’m still 
young!”, until Hisashi comes in and orders them to be quiet.  Lamb cries that 
Nao and Yuri were picking on her, then asks about his decision with her offer of 
a place to stay.  He declines, saying “the truth is, I’m only in middle school, 
so if your Dad knew that, it’s too young to decide where I want to live.  Plus, 
I like living here.”  He sends her out, with a parting message, “if you go on 
acting the way you do now, soon you won’t have any friends!”  Nao gets giggly 
thinking about what he said, and then is about to wash the dishes when Hisashi 
goes, “You don’t seem to have noticed, so I”ll just tell you now…”   “Well…”  
Nao’s heartbeat quickens, and Hisashi says, “Your skirt’s unzipped.”  Nao’s 
crestfallen that if wasn’t a declaration of love.
