----------------------------------------------------------------- DR. CHANBELEE By Katsura Masakazu Translations by Edo (hrzic@hawaii.edu), from Weekly Young Jump, 3-4/2001. Version 1.0. Dr. Chanbelee is a copyright/trademark of Katsura Masakazu and Studio K2R. This translation is copyright (c) 2001 by Edward T. Hrzic III. http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Alley/2247/Trans.htm ----------------------------------------------------------------- FIRST: Why is the title of this translation "Dr. Chanbelee" when others have called it "Chanbari", or something similar? Well, the katakana for the name is "Gureeru Chanbarii", but the actual name of the main character is written (in English no less) at the end of the story (won't spoil it) as "Greal Chanbelee". Why change the name when it's listed in the story itself? SECOND: No, I am not a native Japanese speaker. Therefore, some of the translations will be off. On the majority, the translations will be correct. I have tried to stay as close to the original Japanese as humanly possible (without it sounding awkward). THIRD: No, you may not use this file, nor link to it, on public or private sites without my EXPRESS permission. Think of how difficult it is to translate these things for your enjoyment. Don't be a butthead. ----------------------------------------------------------------- p.241 SOUND: Zee... [sound of wheezing] Zee... Zee... SOUND: Zee... NARRATION: This girl...
