Volume 12 Extra: Laugh Laugh Naruto-chan.

Some notes: Naruto is only a baby, he cannot talk yet. I 
	    just want readers of this translation to understand 
	    that Naruto only thinks, and it's up to Popy to read 
	    his mind to find out what his little brother is trying 
	    to say.

Disclaimer: I'm only a student of Japanese, so my skills 
	    are only "ok", feel free to contact me about any 
	    mistakes I have.


(Page 1)
Narration: "Popy-kun's only little brother is an ESP baby. 
	    He's always having an expressionless face.

[Popy is playing with Naruto a who-is-it game, where you 
cover your own face and make the baby guess who.]

Popy[covering his face]: "Naruto, who is it? who is it? ~~"

Naruto[think, with no reaction whatsoever]: ....... it's big 
					    brother.

Popy[tickling his brother]: "Why can't you be like a normal 
			     baby who will laugh?"

Naruto[think]: Don't do that!!

Cha Cha: "Aw, stop it Popy-kun. If you want Naruto-chan to 
	  laugh, you have to make it more lively and fun!"

Riya[wolf]: "Let us try!"

Trio[covering their faces]: "Who is it? who is it?.... 
			     BAAA!! [reveal their faces.]

[Naruto has no reaction whatsoever.]

Naruto[think]: Big Brother, I have some idiots in front of me!

Popy: "Hey, they're doing this because of you!"

Cha Cha: "Hm? What did Naruto say?"

Shiine: "He's not laughing, at all..."

Riya[changing into a boy]: "Say! Let me take him higher and higher!"

Riya[lifting Naruto up]: "See-- higher and HIGHER!!"

Popy: "That's not very high."

Riya[throwing Naruto into the air]: "Then, I'll throw him even 
				     higher!"

Cha Cha and Shiine: "STUPID!! YOU'RE THROWING A BABY!!"

//guruguruguru// [Naruto did 3 mid-air somersaults and landed safely 
		  in Riya's arms.]

Cha Cha and Shiine: "WOW!!!"

Popy: "Naruto thinks that doing this is not fun..."

[Cha Cha tries a new method.]

Cha Cha: "Naruto-chan is too clever, so he thinks that baby games are 
	  boring... Let big sister read you a book."

[So Cha Cha reads Naruto a book.]

Cha Cha: "See Narutochan, this is a bow-wow."

Naruto[think]: Wrong, that's a dog.

Cha Cha: "This is a meow-meow meowing."

Naruto: "That's not a meow-meow, that's a cat!"

Naruto[think, telling Popy]: Big Brother, this person doesn't know 
			     what these animals are! I can read the 
			     book better than her!"

Cha Cha: "Does Naruto-chan think this is fun?"

Popy[sweatdrop]: "err... no... it's..."

//Chiwa// [Heihachi visits!]

Heihachi: "YO! Po-chan! Listen up!! I brought some of my old toys 
	   for Naruto to play."

Popy: "Toys?"

Hehachi: "These are "guess who" boxes I played with when I was small."

[Heihachi puts the boxes around Naruto.]

Box 1: "who is it?"
Box 2: "who is it?"
Box 3: "who is it?"

Box 1: "GRANDMA!!"
Box 2: "GRANDMA!!"
Box 3: "GRANDMA!!"

[3 scary grandmothers pop up from the boxes. Naruto gets scared and & 
cries throwing the whole room into a spinning frenzy with his ESP 
powers.]

Popy: "What kinda toys are these? They're so SCARY?!"

Heihachi: "Scary? You mean it's not fun?"

[Suddenly, Ichimatsu appears!]

Ichimatsu: "I have a baby's toy here! It's a model of myself, I made 
	    it! It moves and laughs, isn't it cute?"

[Cha Cha, Riya and Shiine are scared stiff from the spinning frenzy 
and "scold" Ichimatsu out of fear!]

Cha Cha[whacking his detachable head off]: "Ichimatsu-kun! Don't bring 
					    strange toys here!"

Riya: "If Naruto-chan cries again, awful things are going to happen!"

Ichimatsu: "HOW RUDE!! How dare you call my invention a strange toy!"

Naruto[stops crying]: .........

[Cha Cha, Riya and Shiine get into a little "fight" with Ichimatsu.]

Ichimatsu: "Your methods are more useless than mine!!"

Shiine: "You mean it's better that he cries?!"

//kyakyakya// [Naruto thinks this is very funny and starts laughing!]

Popy[sweatdrop]: "Now it's not time to laugh!"

Heihachi[sweatdrop]: "Why is it Po-chan's upbringing isn't so bad?"
