[Mai, Yaezou, and Minami are sitting in a restaurant.]
Minami: "What the hell! That Sen!!!"
Minami: "A hand isn't a thing to slap!!"
Minami: "HEY! Is it not cruel!?"
Mai: "um..."
[Yaezou's not really paying attention and Mai doesn't know what to say.]
Mai: Hey! She's talking to us, but... HEY, Yaezou! You say something too...
Minami: "But you saw it!? It's like that game of the lion catching the hyena! 
His face!!"
A... Amazing.
If I caught Sen in that attitude, I'd probably cry...
Mai: uh---

Yaezou: "Minami,"
Yaezou: "Sen's abuse was because of a disadvantage."
Minami: "huh?"

[Minami looks at Mai and realization kicks in.]

Minami: "KYAHH----! Ma- Mai-chan, you [like] Sen...!!?"

sentence.)
Mai: "....."
[Minami has SD-ed in horror.]
Minami: "You should've said that earlier!---- I said Sen's abuse was stupid!--"
Yaezou: "It was too small."
Mai: "......."
Minami: "Ah... Really?"
Minami: "So that means-"

Minami: "Do you think I'm a little bad and hate me?"
[Mai and Yaezou look away.]
Yaezou: "Excuse me, another water."
Mai: "Me too!"
Minami: "Ah! However! There's already nothing between me and Sen. Were you 
worried?"
[Mai looks at Minami, and Minami smiles at her.]
Minami: "Do your best."

[Mai watches Minami in awe.]

[The three are outside now, getting ready to leave.]
Minami: "Let's hang out again, k? During my girls' school's break."

Mai: "What is this all of a sudden?"
Mai (or Yaezou?): "You didn't hear?"
[Mai looks kind of sad.]
Mai: "Yaezou, about the time when I was in junior high?"
Yaezou: "huh...?"
Mai: "I was INCREDIBLY PLAIN!!!"
Mai: Now I've finally become NORMAL!!
Yaezou: "yikes!"

Mai: "The people in my class..."
Mai: "Even the person I liked thought I was an idiot and that I was disgusting."
[Yaezou looks at Mai, a little surprised.]
Yaezou: "What, that was torment?"
Mai: "People call it that, don't they?"
[Yaezou looks at Mai again, still a little surprised.]
Yaezou: "Does Sen know?"
Mai: "Yeah."
[Now Yaezou really looks surprised. Or like he realized something. Well, his 
eyes are white.]

[Yaezou and Mai are just standing there, and the mood is kind of sad or tense.]
Yaezou: "Is that so..."
[Mai looks at Yaezou.]
FB: "Because I'm fine now."

[Mai and Yaezou leave. Then it's the next day at school.]
Student: hi--
[Mai is sitting at her desk, then Sen comes and sets his bag down on his desk.]

[Sen looks distant.]
Sen: ".......right."
[After class.]
Mai: "Sen."

[Mai walks next to Sen.]
Mai: "Where are you going next? Which classroom are you moving to?"
Sen: "Sorry, but right now,"
Sen: "Don't follow me."
[Mai stops, then Yaezou sees her.]

[Sen is sitting outside on the roof.]

Sen: "Because today I'm going to talk with Minami."
Mai: "......."

[Yaezou is closing his locker/cubby, and Mai jumps at him.]
Mai: "Yaezo!"
Yaezou: "wah!"
Mai: "Since today Sen is going to go and meet Minami..."
Yaezou: "and?"
Mai: "Let's go with you, too!!?"
Yaezou: "I thought so."
Yaezou: I wonder why Mai-chan is entangling me in this...
Mai: "Because,"
Mai: "I'm sort of uneasy..."
[Yaezou is surprised.]

[Later in the day. Sen, Mai, and Yaezou are walking to Minami's all girls' 
school. Mai looks a little worried.]

Yaezou: "Ah..."
(PAGE 19)
[Minami is walking with her friends, and she notices them coming. But she rubs 
her eyes first to make sure.]
Minami: (rub rub)
Minami: I thought so
[Minami runs over to them.]
Minami: "eh--!!? Why is everyone here!?"
Minami: "Did something happen?---"
Sen: "Minami, but we need to talk."
[Minami loses her cheerfulness.]

[Mai is standing behind a pole, watching them. Yaezou's sitting on a bench in 
front of the pole.]
Mai: "I wonder what they're talking about."
Yaezou: "Why are you over there? Please come and sit here."
Yaezou: "Sen can't meet Minami anymore."

Mai: "huh..."
Yaezou: "But I think that's better for Mai."
[Mai is surprised.]
[All four are standing together now, getting ready to leave.]
Minami: "Well, I'm going home."
Minami: "I hope everyone stays well."

Minami: "Bye bye, Mai-chan."
Mai: "...yeah."
[As Minami's getting ready to leave, a car is coming.]
Mai: "Wah, a car...!"
[The car zooms by really close to them, and Minami has to grab onto Sen's shirt 
for support.]
Minami: "Wah"
Mai: "Wh- What was that! How dangerous! Such a narrow road!!"

[Minami is looking down, one hand on Sen's shirt.]
Sen: "Are you okay?!..."
Minami: "owow... I'm fine... That surprised me."
[Sen sees that Minami's hand, which is clinging to his shirt, is shaking.]

[Minami's face is really red and it looks like she's on the verge of tears. Mai 
notices.]
Minami: "I'm sorry...!"

[Minami lets go of Sen's shirt.]
Minami: "Bye bye."
[Minami runs off.]
Mai: "...Sen?."
[Sen is looking down, his eyes are almost completely whited-out.]

[Mai looks away. Her face is red, and she looks sad. Then she walks away.]
Yaezou: "Sen..."

Yaezou: "I always thought about who it is."
FB Mai: "Because Sen was able to see me."
Yaezou: "It's not Mai, it's not."
[Mai is looking for Minami.]

[Mai sees Minami crouched at the top of some steps, crying.]
Mai: "Minami...!"
Minami: ".......!"
Minami: "...I'm sorry..."
Minami: "I still like Sen...!"
Minami: "Even yesterday... I saw Sen and then he left...!"
Minami: "I want to see Sen."
Why me?
I thought Minami was strong, didn't I?
Because she is actually weak, I think I should become strong.
